Who We Are

Since establishing the firm in 2008, Vanessa has worked hard to ensure that McNeilly Lawyers has grown to become well known in the area of Family Law and Children’s Care and Protection particularly in the Kempsey region. Vanessa represents both parents and children in these jurisdictions and understands the sensitivity associated with these issues. Vanessa is known for her practical advice, ensuring her clients are satisfied with the outcome achieved. Vanessa works closely with the Legal Aid Commission of NSW, providing legal outreach services to disadvantaged communities on the Mid North Coast. In 2011, Vanessa was nominated for Woman Lawyer of the Year in Private Practice and was appointed Director of Coastline Credit Union. Vanessa practices predominantly in the areas of Family Law, Care and Protection, Wills and Estates, Conveyancing and Civil law.

Estelle is a Lawyer with extensive experience in the Family Law jurisdiction. Estelle has worked in the legal industry since 1998 and has worked at McNeilly Lawyers since 2010. Estelle is a graduate of Southern Cross University and holds Bachelor Degrees in both Law and Psychology. Estelle has been employed within the Federal Court of Australia and has a deep understanding of the complexities of our legal system. Estelle’s extensive legal experience enables her to provide clients with sound legal advice and representation. Estelle primarily practices in the areas of Family law, Criminal law, Wills and Estates and Conveyancing.

Ashleigh grew up in the Macleay Valley and understands our community and its people. Ashleigh has been working at McNeilly Lawyers since 2021 and is an asset to the team. Ashleigh is undertaking legal studies to further her career and to assist our client’s with their legal problems. Ashleigh is a qualified NSW Justice of Peace.

Ella grew up in the Macleay Valley and is studying for a Bachelor's Degree in both Law and Psychology with Southern Cross University. Ella has grown up around the Law Industry and has a great understanding of the Family Law system and its impact on families. Ella always adopts an analytical and solution-based approach and is committed to assisting our clients navigate the Family Law system with empathy and understanding. Ella has been working at McNeilly Lawyers since January 2022 and assists the Lawyers within the Firm. Ella is a qualified NSW Justice of the Peace.

Sarah has grown up in the Macleay Valley and has been working with our Firm since May 2023. Sarah is currently studying at University full time. Sarah assists the legal team and manages workflow. Sarah will often be the first point of contact at McNeilly Lawyers. Her strong work ethic, communication skills and dedication to her role result in exceptional support to our firm and valued clients.
